Murray Fitch,
Murray Fitch is a Victoria-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for Folk and Folk Rock, often with a bit of blues thrown in. He is a multiple finalist in songwriting competitions. Expect songs ranging from simple and sweet to humorous to rocking and sharp-edged, often with singalong choruses and frequently quirky. Expect guitar, possibly banjo, definitely variety and lyrics that you actually want to listen to. More info at www.murrayfitchmusic.com.
Johannah Knight,
JoHannah Knight was born and raised primarily on Vancouver Island.
Her countrified folk music walks the line of tender story songs and dusty dirt roads of country vibes. Her back story of punk rock in the Toronto Music scene in her 20's gives her music grit and rock steady rhythms.
After being dormant from song writing while focusing on motherhood, JoHannah rose with portrait heart felt songs.
JoHannah is currently working on her 2nd solo album to be released in 2027.
Jim Matei
At age 6 years, I began sneaking into my Dad’s closet and pluck away at my Dad’s guitar. My songs and melodies inspired by Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson, Stan Rogers, John Prine, Norman Blake, Arlo Guthrie, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice to name just a few. When I first listened to Mississippi John Hurt, Merle Travis and Doc Watson, my taste of music leaned towards bluegrass and acoustic folk music.
Having sailed around the world to over 63 countries with my guitar, I had always remained an acoustic guitar/ mandolin player and enjoy writing melodies and songs about places and people.
